Understanding your Mama Box subscription
Mama Box Australia offers curated subscription boxes designed specifically for expecting mothers and new mums. By subscribing, you agree to receive regular deliveries of thoughtfully selected products tailored to your pregnancy stage or postpartum journey.
Our subscription service is designed to provide flexibility and convenience, ensuring you receive the care and support you need throughout your motherhood journey.
Subscription Plans & Billing Cycles
How our subscription billing works
Available Billing Frequencies
We offer flexible billing options to suit your needs:
- Monthly subscriptions (billed every 30 days)
- Quarterly subscriptions (billed every 3 months)
- Pre-paid plans (3, 6, or 12 month options available)
Billing Details
- Subscriptions are billed in Australian Dollars (AUD)
- Your payment method will be automatically charged on your billing date
- You will receive an email confirmation for each successful billing
Your first box will be shipped within 2-3 business days of your initial order. Subsequent boxes will be shipped according to your chosen billing frequency.
Payment & Billing Issues
What happens if payment fails
If your payment fails, we will:
- Send you an email notification with instructions to update your payment method
- Attempt to process the payment again within 3 days
- Temporarily suspend your subscription if payment cannot be processed after multiple attempts
- Cancel your subscription if payment issues are not resolved within 14 days
To avoid service interruption, please ensure your payment information is up to date. You can update your payment details at any time through your account dashboard.
Modifying Your Subscription
How to make changes to your plan
We understand that your needs may change throughout your pregnancy and motherhood journey. You can modify your subscription at any time:
Change Your Box Type
Switch between trimester boxes, postpartum boxes, or other available options. Changes must be made at least 5 business days before your next billing date.
Update Your Card Details or Billing Preferences
Change your payment method, update card information, or modify billing preferences. Changes take effect immediately for future billing cycles.
Update Shipping Address
Change your delivery address at any time. Update at least 3 business days before your next shipment to ensure delivery to the correct location.
Pausing Your Subscription
Take a break when you need it
Need a break? You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months:
- Pause requests must be submitted at least 5 business days before your next billing date
- Your subscription will remain paused for the duration you specify (1-3 months)
- No charges will be made during the pause period
- Your subscription will automatically resume at the end of the pause period
- You can resume your subscription early at any time
To pause your subscription, log into your account or contact our customer support team.
Cancellation Policy
How to cancel your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees:
- Cancellations must be submitted at least 5 business days before your next billing date
- You will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless required by law
- Pre-paid subscriptions will not be refunded for unused months
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation email
Important Note
If you cancel after the cut-off date, you will receive one more box and be charged for one more billing cycle before your cancellation takes effect.
Reactivating Your Subscription
Welcome back!
Changed your mind? You can reactivate your cancelled subscription at any time:
- Log into your account and click Reactivate Subscription
- Your previous preferences and settings will be restored
- You will be charged immediately upon reactivation
- Your next box will ship within 2-3 business days

Gift Subscriptions
Special terms for gift purchases
Gift subscriptions have slightly different terms:
- Gift subscriptions are pre-paid and do not auto-renew
- The recipient can manage their delivery preferences and shipping address
- Recipients can extend their subscription at any time
- Gift subscriptions cannot be paused but can be cancelled
- Refunds for gift subscriptions follow our standard refund policy
Recipients will receive an email notification with instructions to activate their gift subscription.
Shipping & Delivery
What to expect with your deliveries
- Free shipping on premium monthly and trimester subscriptions within Australia
- Mini subscriptions incur a $10 flat rate shipping fee (under $80 minimum free shipping threshold)
- Boxes are shipped within 2-3 business days of billing
- Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on location
- Tracking information will be emailed once your box ships
- International shipping is available to New Zealand only

Returns & Refunds
Our commitment to your satisfaction
We want you to love every Mama Box:
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within 7 days for a replacement
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a box has shipped
- First-time subscribers can request a refund within 14 days if unsatisfied
- Individual products may have specific return policies from the manufacturer

Changes to This Policy
How we'll keep you informed
Mama Box Australia reserves the right to modify this Subscription Policy at any time. We will notify active subscribers of any material changes via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of our subscription service after changes are implemented constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription without penalty before the changes take effect.
